You’re Not Grateful Enough
I like to remind you to be grateful
Scientists have found that a one-time act of thoughtful gratitude produces an immediate 10% increase in happiness and a 35% reduction in depressive symptoms. And the fact that you’re reading this sentence means you are already richer and more educated than 95.7% of people in human history.
And because you’re able to access this post, you can access almost half of the information and data ever created by humans. This simply means you can educate yourself about any topic sitting on your couch in the afternoon that people previously spent their entire life to learn.
Put simply, be grateful for everything you have in your life.
It’s so easy to get lost in this noisy world and never have time to think about how grateful you should be for each and everything you have in your life. The idea of busyness never allows you to just pause, take a deep breath, and say “I’m grateful for my life.” I know I know you never said that.
I want to remind you that you should be grateful for each and everything: That stranger’s kindness, the sunshine in the morning, the sunset in the evening, that great book you read, and the laughter you have with a friend.
