Are you Writing As a Hobby?

Please Stop it.

Top writers on the internet who have started their writing journey just for the sake of a hobby. Now they are making millions of dollars through their words. Maybe you might know some of them like Nicolas Cole, Sean Kernan, Zulie Rane, and many more.

In today's digital era you don’t have to write for free ( it’s ok if you don’t want to make money from it) But, what I'm trying to say is you can do much more than as a hobby through your writing.

Convert your hobby into a money making machine.

And there is nothing wrong with that too. Do you know you can make a living through your hobby too? I'm gonna show you how you can do that.

Let’s jump in —

1: Sell Yourself

Don't Just Write — Sell Also.

It doesn't matter how much quality you’re proving in your content until and unless you're not selling yourself into the reader's eyes.

Talk about yourself, and let your reader know who you are. That's how you build your connection.

It also doesn't matter what you write — Everything is monetizable

2: Teach Others

There are millions of other people who want to learn from you, you can teach them, they would like to know how you did what you do, and you can charge money for that too.

Most writers don’t know how to monetize their audience, they hardly know what sales and marketing are.

But, here’s is the thing —

When you google any top digital writers and dig deep into their world, most probably you will find that they have some sorts of courses, consulting, products, and services.

And that's not a BAD THING.

Learn from them and apply them in yourself.

3: Branding

In today’s world, Writing is much more than just writing.

It’s an attention economy.

If you’re creating attention-grabbing content then there is no doubt you’re branding yourself — and you have to.

If you build your brand people will willing to buy products from you, enroll you, and join you.

Don’t confuse yourself — where should I write? what platforms are the best for writers? when to post morning or evening?

Choose any one platform and stick with it for a long. I would suggest writers write on platforms —

  • LinkedIn
  • Medium
  • Twitter
  • Quora

Don’t Write On Blog that nobody Knows

It doesn’t matter which platform you are writing on, all you have to do is create quality content, engage with your audience and sell your stuff.

That’s It.

If you know how to write better content that engages with your audience and you know how to sell yourself, nobody will want to miss your next post whether it will be posted at 2 AM or 11 PM — They will read.

keep writing.
