Why I Stopped Using Social Media

And here’s why you should too

It’s been two years since I deleted my Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Telegram, and even WhatsApp accounts. And can say, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life. And I couldn’t be more happy about it.

Social media is not real life.

Unless you’re not a creator on that social media platform, you should not use it. Yes, I said it, and I mean it. There are literally zero benefits to using social media if you’re not a creator on the platform. Period.

These social media companies spend billions of dollars to make the platform as addictive as possible so that they can get your attention and distract you from what’s important to you.

Back in 2022, when I graduated from college, I gave it a try — to delete all my social media accounts to see if I could really do it or not. But guess what? I did it, and ever since I never looked back. My life has gotten so much better. And now I’m going to tell you why you should delete it too.
