What 1000 Days (~3 Years) of Writing Has Taught Me About Online Writing
And no, it’s not about success
Hey buddy, how you doin’? All Good? Great!
As you might know, I no longer write about audience growth and writing tips. But today, somehow, I’ve got something special for you. And no, it’s not some growth tips, it’s some useful lessons I’ve learned over the course of my writing journey. A few lessons are helpful that you can immediately apply to your writing.
Don’t wanna waste your time, let’s get straight to it.
1. Writing Gets Easier When You Start Typing
“You don’t need motivation to start writing, you need to start writing to get motivated.”
Whenever I find myself stuck writing anything (Btw, I’m working on a new project that’s going pretty well), instead of procrastinating, I force myself to sit in front of the laptop and start typing whatever comes to my mind.
It might sound painful, but guess what? Magic happens, and ideas start to pop up in my head. Then a few minutes or hours later I’d realize that I’ve already churned out a couple thousand words. The best part? It has always been the same case for me.
