Story editing Option on the Medium app is on the way. (not joking)

Not having the editing option on mobile devices is a major drawback of Medium. I don’t know why Medium developers have removed the editing option on mobile in the command of ex-CEO Medium Ev Williams. But thank you so much to the new Medium CEO Tony Stubblebine who is bringing it back.

Let me explain the story.

I came across a post written by Mona Lazar, “ Breaking News: Medium Brings Back the Mobile Editor Next”, I read it, but I was stunned too. It was unbelievable for me to accept that Medium is bringing it back.

So, to double-check whether the news is right or wrong I did some more research.

Here is how:

I typed the keyword “Medium ” in the search box, clicked on the tag option, And found this article by Breana Jones, where in her post she clearly mentioned that they are dropping the editing option on the mobile app next week.

Next Week :)

Now, I was confirmed.

Note: You can believe her because She belongs to the product team at Medium.

So, my all dear medium writers, congratulations. You’ll be able to edit your Stories from the mobile app soon. I still can’t believe the medium is doing it for us. I love you Medium.

Although there are two other changes that are going to happen.

1. Custom domain.
2. True following feed.

But for me, the editing option update is more important than these 2 others. Are you excited about it?
