Trying Something Different
The Lonely Period
The beauty of following a “Default” path, which everyone follows in your circle is that you get a company of like-minded people. For example, working in a motor factory, or construction side.
But when you try to do something different? A thing that’s uncommon in your circle — a thing that people know nothing about but you’ve come across it by surfing the internet.
Let’s just say that’s starting your own thing — like an internet business, or working on the internet as a creator or influencer. These works are pretty new to most of the people you surround yourself with. They’ve no idea how these internet things work, because it’s pretty new, you know.
People think you’re weird, you’re dumb, you’re wasting your time.
And that’s where you feel lonely. Because it’s a self-improvement journey, once you start doing this, your values change, and you don’t have the same belief that you had 5 or 10 years ago.
You no longer vibe with the friends that you once called “Close friends.” Because they’ve still those same beliefs that they had years ago, but yours are now new. You no longer want to meet them or talk to them. Of course, there are consequences to this, but most of us feel this way.
