The Reality Of Medium Writers

It is what it is

Most Medium writers aren’t action-takers.

Sorry if this is something you didn’t want to hear but sadly it’s a hard truth. And maybe you’re one of them. Of course, you can criticize me for saying that ;)

But how do I know if most of the Medium writers are lurkers?

This goes back to my experience with selling the Medium Masterclass. I exactly know people with their Medium profile who have bought the Medium Masterclass ebook.

So they bought it. Somehow they read it halfway through the ebook. But do you know where they’re lacking? They’re not taking any action. Zero.

I know people who had an anonymous account before they bought the Medium Masterclass and two months passed and they still have the same anonymous account.

Medium Masterclass teaches you how to optimize your profile to get more followers and convert visitors into buyers and fans.

Regardless of teaching it, people don’t take action and that’s why it’s fair to call them “Lazy lurkers.” They’re not action-takers.

If they really, really are serious about writing and growing on Medium, they of course, could have done the simple stuff, but it seems they aren’t.

People who had less than 100 followers before they bought the Medium Masterclass — still have less than 100 followers even though it’s been two months since they bought it.

So where’s their effort? Nada.

It’s so easy to read and consume information on the internet. That’s not the problem. The real problem comes when taking action on the thing.

That’s where most people lack motivation. Because taking action to complete the task that needs to be completed is supposed to be hard.

Right?

To be clear: I’m not criticizing anyone personally. So do not take this personally. I’m not saying you’re lazy or someone is lazy. You precisely already know “Who you actually are.” I don’t need to tell you anything.

Don’t just consume the information, execute too!
