The Courage To Be Disliked As A Writer
You Need To Build This Mindset
Being a writer is not as easy as you think.
There are so many ups and down you have to face, and the journey is not going to be straight. Here I’m not talking about writing tips, I’m talking about human behaviors.
As a writer, you obtain love as well as hate.
But the thing is when we get love? We feel happier, motivated, energetic, faithful, and grateful.
And it’s ok too.
But when we get hate? Feel like our whole life is miserable, feel sad, anger, and demotivated.
Am I going right?
But a real writer should know how to deal with both of them. Most writers only expect love & appreciation of their work, ( that’s not a bad thing at all) But keep in mind, every coin has two sides.
As you grow, your article will be read by more people, you will get noticed by more people. Some people will agree with your words, some will degree, some of them will appreciate you, some of them will criticize you.
More people. More challenged.
But you have to handle both scenarios.
So what you can do as a writer?
Let me give you a very short answer —
People who love you — Love them.
People who hate you — Block them.
People who criticize you —Thank them.
People who abuse you — Delete them.
People who make fun of you — Let’s do them.
This is the actual courage to be disliked.
Don’t get disappointed.
Don’t feel demotivated.
Don’t get distract.
Don’t feel bad.
Reply to them in their own way.
That’s all about it.
