May 31, 2022, was the day when I wrote the post “Thank you so much for 1,000 followers — Here’s your gift”. And today is July 30, 2022, I'm writing this post. This means I doubled my followers From 1,000 to 2,000 followers in less than 2 months.
Holy shit.
I can’t even imagine how faster I'm growing on this platform. Because this is not LinkedIn or Twitter where you'll get millions Of Users. Medium has less than $70 million users (including, suspended, banned, and dead accounts) and I do believe It’s much hard to grow on Medium.
2k followers on Medium is the same as 20k followers on Instagram or Twitter.
But, one thing I’ve experienced throughout the journey is, if you want to grow on Medium then you’ll have to stand out from the crowd, you’ll have to work strategically. No one gives a shit about a mediocre writer who copies others and writes the same things over and over again.
