Medium Vs Substack
the reality you need to know
One of the hardest lessons I’ve learned in my writing journey is that:
No writing platform is perfect.
So if you’re looking for the best or perfect writing platform, forget about it. Forget about the idea that there is a perfect writing platform out there. There is no such thing as a “Perfect writing platform.”
Especially these days, you’ll find some gurus will tell you that “Medium is dying. It’s done.” But how true? Because it definitely is not. What’s more… now it (Medium) has 1+ million paying members, which is a whopping number, to be honest. So how in the world it’s dying in the first place lol.
Some people will recommend you to move to Substack. And when you say why they’ll tell you that Medium isn’t good, but Substack is. Well, how true?
