In my previous article about Steve Jobs, one of my readers asked me to also write about Ratan Tata. When I read that suggestion, I thought “Yeah, it’s a great suggestion!” But I didn’t know that Ratan Tata was no longer with us. Only later I found out about it when I had a conversation with one of my friends, who said, “Do you know Ratan Tata recently passed away?”
And I was like…What!?
That’s when I could connect the dots — why my reader asked me to write about Ratan Tata. So thanks to Vidhyadhari M for the great suggestion. Today in this post, we will explore the life journey of Rata Tata Ji, and hopefully try to extract some ideas, lessons, and wisdom from his life.
If you don’t know who Ratan Tata is, he was the chairman of Tata Group, one of the biggest and most successful companies in India. If we talk about the numbers, Tata Group owns 30 companies and is the #1 largest company in India employing 1,028,000 people!
