Throw your imposter syndrome in the dustbin.

A lot of writers think that they have nothing worth saying. Or they believe “I don’t know what to write” is a real thing. It’s the fact that they’ve got imposter syndrome really hard.

But hear me out…

First and foremost, you don’t need to be an expert to share or write something worth reading. You really don’t.

You just have to be aware and knowledgeable about the topic you’re writing about. That’s it.

The second thing is, you don’t really need to create new things, and you shouldn’t bother trying to. The term you may have heard is “Curation.” That’s what you have to do.

You have to consume content and make it your own.

There is a great saying:

“Everything that needs to be said has already been said, but since no one was listening, it must be said again.”

So true, right? If you’re thinking about how to create something entirely new or original content, let me tell you: you’re wasting your time thinking about it. Because you really don’t need to.

There is no truly original thing left to create. Everything has already been said.

So here’s what you really need to do…

Add Your Perspective and Experience

This is what you need to do.

Your readers will always find it interesting when you talk about the same old stuff, but you add your own perspective and experiences. They care about your opinion and point of view. That’s why they’re following you, right?

And why are you even bothering about “creating original content” in the first place?

Anything you create, just do the above thing. Add perspective and experience. That’s it. You’ll be amazed by how many people thank you for creating the content you create.

The problem is that most aspiring writers create content but they add nothing. No personality, no perspective, no experience — that’s why their content seems so boring.

People don’t want new things — they want the same thing with new angles.

And remember, it takes time to build authority and reputation. So, don’t be too hasty thinking about “how to achieve it overnight.” Just be patient and create valuable content over and over again.

That’s how your audience remembers your name and brand.
