How To Outperform 99% Of Writers On Medium (Without Hurting Them)
This is what you’re missing
Whenever someone comments on my Medium stories I like to check their profile. I don’t know why but it’s just a thing I like to do.
So if you’ve ever commented on my stories there are 90% chance that I’ve checked your Medium profile and know you by your profile name.
Props to you!
But do you know what’s the funny thing?
Up to this point, I’ve checked 1000s of Medium profiles doing this, and what I noticed is so fascinating: most of the profiles I checked, either never published a story or published a few but are so inconsistent.
Why is that? Because publishing daily or weekly is hard. Maintaining consistency is hard. If it were easy, everyone would have 1000s of followers!
Commenting on someone else story is easy, publishing your own story is hard.
And this is the case with almost 99% of the people on Medium. I know many accounts who started writing on Medium in 2022 but still have less than 100 followers.
The fact is simple: They don’t publish enough.
So if you’re thinking that you can’t compete or you can’t outperform other writers — you’re dead wrong, my friend. The reason you think this way is that you also aren’t enough consistent in the first place.
And maybe the reason you aren’t getting the results you want is that you aren’t publishing enough. You aren’t maintaining consistency.
Maintain consistency. Publish more!
The moment you start doing it, you not only outperform the other 99% of the writers, but also you’ll a drastic change in your Medium stats.
- The views will shoot up
- The likes will shoot up
- The followers will shoot up
- And the income will shoot up
It all comes down to one thing: Consistency.
The more consistence you are, the better results you get.
