So, how did I get almost 80 followers in 2 days?

Getting Followers on Medium is very easy if you know the secret, the 2 things I did and I got “passive followers.”

This will be a short article I'm not gonna waste your time showing my two tips on how to get followers in long 800 words articles -Not at all.— I respect your time.

So what’s the recipe actually? Let’s dive in —

1. Five Star to Quantity ( But Not Garbage)

I wrote consistently (and to be continued) for the last one months without thinking about perfectionism. That’s how I wrote 21 articles in the 30 days.

The worst writing mistake newbie writers make is they focus too much on perfectionism and forget about daily writing and consistency. They edit their posts for several hours, days, and waste their time on shitty unnecessary things, that are not important in your initial writing journey.

Here are the quick tips that I have applied myself.

• Don’t focus too much on quality. But Also don’t write garbage content.
• Make a draft of articles every day to get ideas.(at least 5 per day)
• Write every day.
• Write with emotion, not words.
• Tell a good story.
• Create kick — Ass Headline.
• Deliver Knowledge, and provide value.
• Focus on only one platform at a time.
• Don’t write too much long content (write 500- 900 words article)
• Know your topic, Nich down your interest.
• Don’t write for everyone, write for a group of people.
• Hit publish every day without procrastination.
• But don’t focus too much on a single thing.
• Make your content library bigger and broader.
• Just write, write, write, and write.

2. Hello Medium Recipe

In this second trick what I did was-

My main target was to get 100 followers as soon as possible and I reached that level within 5 days. Once I reached that level I totally stop thinking about followers and all I did was just write, write and write.

Here are the tips for the Hello medium recipe ( you can replicate this on your own)

• I wrote the article “ 100 followers challenge” and luckily this post went viral (not curated) on medium.
• I followed people who were following me.
• I engaged with other writers.
• I followed people first and wait for their response.
• I Played around with follower game content.
