Finding a perfect image for your post is crucial.

The image plays a vital role in your post, especially in your medium post because when someone clicks on your post their first look goes through your image. Isn't it?

I've seen so many writers download their images from google. But it’s totally wrong. you can not use google stock images, it can harm your post as well as your account. Also medium doesn’t allow you to use google images. Most beginner writers don't know where they can find perfect images for their posts. I know this Because I was in the same situation in the initial days of my writing, thus I thought let’s make a post about it.

So what’s the solution? where you can get eye-catching images for your medium post?

Well, there are tons of websites out there, but in this post I'm going to share with you some of the top and most trusted websites that provide free images. You don't have to pay a single $ for the image.

So without further ado let’s dive into it —

1: Unsplash

Officially this website is partnered with Medium. Unsplash is a great way to find images for your post.

Unsplash has over 30+ Million monthly visitors. and they provide free-of-cost images that you can use in your post.

You can get Unsplash pictures in two ways —

  1. Go to the Unsplash official website and search for your desired image Name.

2. The second option is to use Medium inbuild feature. To do that just click over the plus icon in your post, look like this —

Once you clicked on the plus icon then As you can see in the above image, there is showing a search icon, click on that, type your desired image name and the image will be automatically added to your post, even you don't have to download the image.

This is the easiest way to get an image.

2: Pexels

This is my favorite one, I use my post images from pexels.

This website has millions of unique pictures for free to use. Over 30 Million + visitors per month.

4: Canva

Maybe you have heard about this website before. Don’t you?

Although, Canva is not especially for images, but here you can create your own images for free. Canva is a designing tool that allows you to create your own stuff in the form of images, infographics, videos, and gifs.

Generally, I don’t use Canva for images, but whenever I need something from scratch I go with Canva. It’s a great tool with tons of features.
