3 kickass Reasons Imperfect Published Is Better Than Perfect Unpublished
This Is Why I Publish Every Day
Perfection is the enemy.
The common problem with digital writers is that they chase perfection, this perfection causes them fear and doubts. And this is the reason they don’t hit “Publish” often.
Most writers go through this process:
- Should I publish this?
- What if people criticize me?
- What if no one reads this?
- What if they get me wrong?
- So on and so forth.
Overthinking is the second biggest enemy.
So, let me give you 3 reasons for what actually happens when you hit “Publish” often.
1. Skill Enhancement
When you write, you get better at writing.
There is no downside. The more you write & publish, your craft becomes better and better. You can improve your skill by writing and publishing often, because practice is the only thing that can beat any talent. Thus, your ultimate goal should be to make your craft better, not money or followers.
Follow the process, rest will come.
2. Collection Of Data Points
Data is the single most important factor for growth.
When you hit publish, you get data points in the form of views, claps, and comments, which helps you to double down on winners. And the more you publish, the more data points you’ll accumulate that accelerate your growth.
Now, think when you don’t hit “publish”.
3. Knowledge And Experience
People pay money for your experience and knowledge.
Mastering writing skill is a journey, not a destination, and In this journey, you can learn so many things, can gain so many experiences. And once you gain the knowledge and experience, you can monetize it to make money.
Don’t look for shortcuts.
If this makes sense to you. “Hit Publish”. Often.
This is the only reason I publish often. Every day. Per day.
I hope this helps you.
